Alicia Michelle Henley
January 26, 1981 — March 10, 2017
Alicia Michelle Henley, age 36, resident of Somerville, departed this life Friday morning, March 10, 2017 at her residence.
Services of Remembrance for Alicia were conducted at 2 P.M. Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. Kevin Treadway, associate pastor at Mercy Bridge Church in Somerville, officiating. Interment followed in the Hood Cemetery in the Warren Community. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland.
Alicia was born January 26, 1981 in Memphis, Tennessee. She received her education in the Fayette County School System and was of the Methodist faith. She was employed as a waitress and enjoyed doing yardwork, gardening and special times with her family members and friends. Alicia had a love for her pets, her dog, Rusky and her cats, TomTom, Little Bit and Missy.
Alicia is survived by her parents, William H. Henley and Brenda German Henley of Somerville, TN; two sisters, Belinda Childress (Jason) of Oakland, TN, Jennifer Henley of Memphis, TN; and two nieces, Danielle Henley of Memphis, TN and Alyssa Childress of Oakland, TN.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Jason Childress, Jason German, Anthony German, Quinterio Franklin, Rodney Gruthoff and Shane German.
The family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
