Christopher Brooks Carson

Christopher Brooks Carson, age 47, resident of Eads, Tennessee and husband of Amy Fleck Carson, departed this life Saturday morning, March 16, 2019 at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville.

Funeral Services for Mr. Carson were held at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Faith Baptist Church in Bartlett with Bro. Eddie Little, pastor of Hickory Withe First Baptist Church, officiating. Personal remarks were given by Bro. Sam Wiley. Interment will follow in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery near Oakland. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.

Brooks was born January 18, 1972 in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of Judy Brooks Gammel and the late Roy Carson. He received his education at Dyersburg High School and was married October 7, 2000 to the former Amy Fleck. He was the co-owner of Automotive Fleet Resources in Memphis and was a member of Hickory Withe First Baptist Church. Brooks will be remembered for being a devout family man and strong Christian who loved Jesus. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed the time he spent with his family and friends. He had a passion for coaching baseball and football and was a mentor to all of his players.

Mr. Carson is survived by his wife of 18 years, Amy Fleck Carson of Eads, TN; his daughter, Olivia Carson; his son, Colton Carson; and his mother, Judy Brooks Gammel.
