Jerry Randall Colson

Jerry Randall Colson, age 60, resident of Moscow and husband of the late Beverly Kay Perkins Colson and the late Janice Brown Colson, departed this life Wednesday evening, May 10, 2017 at his residence.

Services and Interment for Mr. Colson were private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland.

Mr. Colson was born November 23, 1956 in Memphis, Tennessee and was a resident of Fayette County for much of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grundy Odell Colson and Rubyene Lowery Colson. He received his education at Frayser High School in Shelby County and was employed as a production supervisor for TimeCard Sales in Memphis before his retirement. Mr. Colson was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, writing poetry and special times with his family.

Mr. Colson is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Rose Vaughn (Daniel) of Portland, TN; his son, Dustin Colson of Moscow, TN; three sisters, Judy Ryon (Robert) of Oakland, TN, Debbie Knight of Arlington, TN, Joy Lowery (Will) of Kentucky; his brother, Dale Colson, Jr. of Oakland, TN; and three grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly Kay Perkins Colson who died in 2003, his second wife, Janice Brown Colson who died in 2012; his parents, Grundy Odell Colson and Rubyene Lowery Colson.
