Aimee Cherie Joyner, 33, of Arlington, Tennessee, passed peacefully into her eternal home on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
Aimee was born in Memphis, Tennessee, Shelby County, on March 5, 1990, the daughter of Cherie Cooper Berenato and John J. Roszler, III.
She married the love of her life, Bryan M. Joyner on March 19, 2011. They met while attending Bartlett High School and continued their courtship through college where she attended Southwest Tennessee Community College and Middle Tennessee State University. Through their union, they welcomed three beautiful children into this world whom she greatly adored and loved with all her heart.
Aimee proclaimed her faith and love to Jesus Christ and was baptized on May 18, 2003 at New Hope Christian Church in Bartlett, Tennessee.
She was Secretary-Treasurer and Co-Chair of Arsenal Baseball in Arlington, a youth travel baseball organization and was the quintessential sports mom. She enjoyed and actively participated from the sidelines in all of her children’s sporting events whether it be cheer for her daughters or baseball for her son.
She was predeceased by her great-grandparents, J. C. and Ola Wayland of Walnut Ridge Arkansas and Forest and Susan Byars Cooper of Memphis, TN, her maternal grandfather, Foriest Jack Cooper and her paternal grandmother, Linda Rhodes.
She is survived by her husband, Bryan Mark Joyner, children, Kylie, Jason and Addison, all of the home, parents, Cherie Cooper Berenato, Ronald Joseph Berenato and John Roszler, grandparents, Billie Wayland Cooper, Domenic and Louise Berenato, one brother, Joseph N. Roszler (Erica), three aunts, Sonja Cooper Bursi (Bob), Kayla Cooper Griffin (Billy) and Lisa Berenato Kennamer (Barry), one uncle, Jay Cooper (Amy), cousins, Kayleigh Bock (Josh), Alec Cooper (Hailey), Max Cooper (Emily), Jack Cooper and Benjamin Griffin, parents-in-law, Mark and Lisa Joyner, brother-in-law, Cody Joyner, in addition to numerous extended family members.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Joyner were held at 12 noon Friday, September 1, 2023 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel with Reverend Chris S. Hodges officiating. Interment followed in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64, Oakland, Tennessee.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Alec Cooper, Max Cooper, Jack Cooper, Cody Joyner, Casey Keener and Dr. Alex Hicks. Honorary pallbearers were Jay Cooper and Robert Kuntzman.
