Angela Kim "Angie" Brown Holcomb, age 52, resident of Somerville, departed this life Tuesday morning, October 27, 2015 at her residence.
Services of Remembrance for Ms. Holcomb will be conducted at 2 P.M. Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville. Interment will be private. A visitation for Ms. Holcomb will be from 1 until 2 P.M. Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville. Arrangements will be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.
Ms. Holcomb was born October 17, 1963 in West Memphis, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Edward Brown and Magdalene Brown. She received her education at White State High School where she played the flute in the band, was a cheerleader and a Drum Majorette at White Station High School. After graduating, she received her Associate’s Degree in accounting at Southwest Tennessee Community College in Memphis.
Ms. Holcomb was a resident of Shelby County before moving to the Fayette County area in 1994. She was a member of the Somerville First United Methodist Church. Ms. Holcomb enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, working in her yard and traveling to East Tennessee and the Ozarks. She will be remembered as a loving mother and friend.
Ms. Holcomb is survived by her daughter, Ariel Holcomb of Somerville; two sons, Tyler Holcomb of Orange Beach, AL, Corey Holcomb of Memphis; two sisters, Debbie Cassidy of Proctor, AR, Peggy Goble (J.P.) of Collierville; her niece, Shelby Saliba; four nephews, Michael Pugh, Christopher Pugh, Rudy Saliba, Larry Cassidy; and the father of her children, Brooks Holcomb of Somerville.
