Anthony Joseph Canale, III, age 70, resident of Somerville, Tennessee and husband of Whitfield Napier Canale, departed this life Thursday evening, October 1, 2020 at Methodist LeBonheur Germantown Hospital.
Anthony was born July 13, 1950 in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of Anthony Joseph Canale, II and Martha Brown Canale. He received his master’s degree in Biology at the University of Alabama and was employed as a pharmaceutical representative for seventeen years. He was later employed with Terminix as a national account manager before his retirement in December of 2019. Anthony was an avid University of Alabama Crimson Tide fan who was the best husband, father and grandfather. Tony will be remembered for the devotion he had for his family.
Mr. Canale is survived by his wife, Whitfield Napier Canale of Somerville, TN; two sons, Anthony Joseph Canale IV (Michelle) of Drummonds, TN and Nathan Beake (Brittaney) of Chandler, AZ; three daughters, Natalie Davis of Somerville, TN, Jessica Beake of Somerville, TN and Leah Beake of Cordova, TN; and four grandchildren, Lexi Henry, Niki Henry, Eli Jones and Paisley Beake. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Gwynne Butler.
A Private Graveside Service for Mr. Canale was held at the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64.
