ARCHIE C. MCCAIN, SR., 74, Braden Community resident, retired sheet metal journeyman and US Army Veteran died June 13, 2010. Services for Mr. McCain will be at 3 PM Wednesday at Peebles West Funeral Chapel in Oakland and interment will be private. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Peebles. A member of Braden United Methodist Church Mr. McCain enjoyed woodworking and special times with his grandchildren. He leaves his wife Gail Cox McCain (also known as "The Carousel Lady" at Wolfchase Mall) and his children: Joanna Cox (Jere) of Henderson, TN, Archie McCain (Charlene) of Lawrenceville, GA, Michael McCain (Wendy) of Olive Branch, MS, 6 grandchildren, 3 sisters and 5 brothers. Memorials are requested to Mr. McCain's church.
