Ashley Renhae (Jones) Best

Ashley Renhae Jones Best, resident of Collierville and daughter of Larry Jones of Oakland departed this life Sunday afternoon, November 10, 2013 at the residence of her mother in Bartlett. She was 35 years of age and died following an extended illness.

Services of Remembrance for Miss Best were conducted at 11 A.M. Tuesday, November 12th at the First Baptist Church of Fisherville with Bro. Jack Moore and Dr. Gary Redding, both of the church, officiating. Interment was private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes and Cremation Center — Main Chapel of Somerville.

Miss Best was born September 28, 1978 in Memphis, the daughter of Larry Reid Jones and the former Nancy Bryan. She received her education in the Memphis Public School System and in the Public School System of Las Vegas, Nevada. She was a former resident of Athens, Georgia for a number of years and had been a resident of the Collierville Community for the past 2½ years.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fisherville and cherished the relationship that she held with her daughter. Traveling, the beach and seashore were things that she enjoyed doing as long as health permitted. Miss Best was an avid Georgia Football fan and horses were an important part of her life.

Miss Best is survived by her daughter, McKenzie Jones of Collierville; her father, Larry Jones (Gloria) of Oakland; her mother, Nancy Jones of Bartlett; her sister, Amber Crouch (Jeff) of Atlanta, GA; three brothers, James Michael Jones of Oakland, Charles Reid Jones (Candice) of Oakland, Bryan Dowdie (Samantha) of Atlanta, GA; and a special friend, Nick Bowlan of Atoka, TN.
