Barbara Jean Whittamore

Barbara Jean Whittamore, age 50, resident of Memphis, departed this life Monday evening, December 12, 2016 at the Methodist North Hospital in Memphis.
Services of Remembrance for Ms. Whittamore were conducted at 2 P.M. Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. Terry Logan officiating. Interment followed in the Eads Cemetery in Eads, Tennessee. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland.
Ms. Whittamore was born January 19, 1966 in Memphis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Vester Whittamore and Gloria Camille Goforth Whittamore. She received her education at the Shadowlawn Learning Center in Bartlett, Tennessee. Ms. Whittamore enjoyed music, games and puzzles.
Ms. Whittamore is survived by two brothers, Russell Steven Whittamore of Memphis, TN, David Dewayne Whittamore of Memphis, TN; three aunts, Brenda Smith (Gary) of Lakeland, TN, Dorothy Vaughn (Carter) of Memphis, TN, Carolyn Watson of Somerville, TN; and her uncle, Robert Goforth (Annette) of Ripley, TN.
