Barry Howell Alberson

January 17, 1967 — July 10, 2017

Barry H. Alberson, 50, resident of the Hickory Withe Community and husband of Lisa Kissling Alberson, departed this life Monday morning, July 10, 2017 at the St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett.

Services of Remembrance were conducted at 3 P.M. Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. Matthew Emerson, pastor of the Hornsby Baptist Church, officiating. A Private Interment was in the Arlington Cemetery in Arlington, Tennessee. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland.

Barry was born January 17, 1967 in Shelby County, Tennessee. He was a graduate of Bartlett High School and was employed with the Shelby County Road Department before retiring for health reasons. He loved the farm life and enjoyed raising cattle alongside his father and son. Barry also enjoyed hunting with his friends as long as his health permitted.

Barry is survived by his loving wife whom he married May 25, 1988, Lisa Kissling Alberson of Hickory Withe, TN; his son, Mitchell Alberson of Hickory Withe, TN; his daughter, Sarah Alberson of Hickory Withe, TN; his mother, Carol Seward Alberson of Somerville; his sister, Robin Brown of Hornsby, TN; and his grandson, Jason McLain Yelvington of Hickory Withe, TN.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Nathaniel “H.N.” Alberson.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Judd Lindsey, Dale Mitchell, Adam Brown, Mitchell Alberson, Matt Lawler, Jason Yelvington, Chris Leggett, Royce Harrell, Dillon Faith, Jay Lindsey and Tim Harrell. Honorary pallbearers were Vic Lowery, Steve Hunter, Roger Mitchell and Martin Seward.
