Barry Gene Graham

Barry Gene Graham, resident of Oakland, Tennessee, departed this life Sunday, January 21, 2018 at his residence.

Services of Remembrance for Mr. Graham were conducted at 2 P.M. Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Interment followed in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.

Mr. Graham was born May 6, 1961 in West Memphis, Arkansas. He moved with his family at an early age and graduated high school in Toledo, Ohio. He served his country in the Marine Corps Reserves as a young person and played football in a semi-pro football league. Mr. Graham was employed as an industrial contractor for many years and was a mechanically inclined person who enjoyed working with electronics such as robots and drones, coaching soccer and special times with his children.

Mr. Graham is survived by two sons, Joshua Graham (fiancée, Laura) of Bartlett, IL, Aaron Levi Graham of Shreveport, LA; three stepchildren, Beau Benard of Louisiana, Cameron Benard of Little Rock, AR, Lacy of Louisiana; his parents, Harrison Graham, Jr. and Virginia Ruth Holmes Graham of Oakland, TN; his sister, Virginia Elizabeth “Beth” Wade (Jimmy) of Oakland, TN; his grandson, Levi Malcolm Graham; his niece, Marlana Balonek of Germantown, TN; and his great-nephew, Gavin Graham Burke of Germantown, TN.
