Bart Regan

Bart Regan, age 77, resident of Oakland and husband of Elizabeth Smith Regan, departed this life Tuesday morning, August 7, 2018 at his residence.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Regan was held at 3 P.M. Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Personal remarks were given by William Cabba, Mike Watkins, Brent Clack and Barry Regan. Interment was private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland.

Mr. Regan was born January 3, 1941 in Newport Beach, California. He received his education in Newport Beach and was married March 9, 1996 to the former Elizabeth Smith. He was employed as an EMT, paramedic, director and a volunteer fireman for a number of years before his retirement. Mr. Regan enjoyed photography, watching television, working on his computer and taking naps.

Mr. Regan is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Regan of Oakland, TN; two daughters, Marlea Regan of Boston, MA, Marianne Jones (Bryan) of Sarasota, FL; his son, Barry Regan (Caroline) of Milford, MA; two stepsons, Patrick Hart of Oakland, TN, Sean Hart (Amber) of Bartlett, TN; and five grandchildren, Tyler Jones of Sarasota, FL, Connor Jones of Sarasota, FL, Kalin Fulton of Memphis, TN, Jaiden Hart of Bartlett, TN and Eden Hart of Bartlett, TN.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Regan, Sr. and his brother, John Regan, Jr.
