Bernhardt Paul Roth, Jr.

Bernhardt Paul Roth Jr. (Ben) passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025 at the age of 57. Much like his beloved Kansas City Chiefs, his last season of life was hard fought. Ben was known for his loving and generous heart. Many stray animals and people in need received support from him over the years. He was also a fierce protector of those he loved. He used his quick wit and way with words in everything from his career in sales to talking his way out of trouble. His bright blue eyes and infectious laugh also helped him along the way and won’t soon be forgotten. Just like he never forgot a sports stat, especially for the Kansas City Chiefs or Royals.

He is survived by his children: Livia Roth and Bernhardt L. Roth; sister Becky Murphy (husband Larry); niece Jamie Shaw (husband Stuart); great niece and nephew Sawyer Shaw and Adalyn Shaw; and friends

Along with many friends, aunts, uncles and cousins who remember him fondly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernhardt Paul Roth Sr. and Constance Roth.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation or your local animal shelter in Ben’s name.
