Betty Ann Burnett, age 91, resident of Oakland, Tennessee, departed this life Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
Betty was born December 27, 1933 in Memphis and graduated from Messick High School where she met her husband, Paul Richard Burnett. Betty Ann Burnett was a true embodiment of love and grace!
A devoted wife of 62 years, loving mother, and grandmother, she was always ready to welcome you with open arms and a delicious meal. She hosted family dinners for decades, ensuring everyone felt welcomed and cherished.
She enjoyed cooking, antiquing, and shopping. She was the original Martha Stewart! Her attention to detail and style was unmatched, always dressed impeccably from the moment she woke until she went to bed, adorned with pearls, earrings, and pink lipstick. She served as a remarkable example for all of us, demonstrating the values and principles we should aspire to embody in our own lives.
She was a member of Hickory Withe Baptist Church and enjoyed her time there. She retired from Wurzburg Corporation after an impressive 35 years.
Betty and Paul were FUN people. Throughout their time togheter, they participated in various dinner clubs and charity organizations, relishing the opportunity to socialize with friends.
Above all, they cherished their family and the bond they shared. Occasionally, one might observe them gently dancing in each other's arms in their living room. She is probably dancing with him now while they praise Jesus!
She is survived by her son, Richard Paul Burnett; her daughter, Christy Burnett Aguanno (Edwin); her six grandchildren, Kelly Burnett Ussury (Nick), Jessica Ring Ware, William Paul Burnett (Rachael), Dustin Kile Ring, Richard Grant Aguanno, and Harrison Joel Aguanno; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Paul Richard Burnett; her daughter, Paula Ring Miller; her parents, Arthur William Kile, and Laura Faye Kile; her sister and two brothers.
