Betty Sue (Norris) Mills
February 15, 1931 — April 10, 2014
Betty Sue Norris Mills, age 83, resident of the Lakeland Community, retired advertising layout artist for Sears Roebuck and Company and wife of Steven John Mills, departed this life Thursday morning, April 10, 2014 at her residence.
A Gathering of Family and Friends of Mrs. Mills was from 2 to 4 Saturday afternoon at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville. Graveside Services were in Milburn, Kentucky.
A Christian who enjoyed painting, traveling and gardening, she was a friend of Bill W. for over 30 years. She will be remembered as a family-oriented person and a Master Gardener in Tennessee.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Mills is survived by her daughter, Susan Kirkham (Doug) of Paducah, KY; her son, Steve Owen of McKenzie, TN; her brother, Albert Norris of Paducah, KY; her granddaughter, Melissa Dietrich; and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Norris and Bessie Burgess Norris.
