Beverly “Sue” Johnson Graves, age 59, resident of Eads, Tennessee passed away at her residence early Thursday morning on August 16, 2018. She leaves behind her loving husband of 32 years, Tommy Graves.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Graves was held at 2 P.M. on Sunday August 19, 2018 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Interment followed at Eads Cemetery. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland.
Mrs. Graves was born June 25, 1959 in Fayette County. She was a graduate of Collierville High School. She worked as a nutritionist for the Shelby County School System. Beverly was a faithful follower of Christ and attended Eads United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her grandsons.
Mrs. Graves is survived by her loving husband, Tommy Graves; her daughter, Rachel Reed (Andy); two grandsons J.T. and Jacob of Gallatin, TN; her great nephews, Russell and Richard Holloway of Eads, TN; and her siblings, Patricia McCarter (John), Larry Johnson (Geraldine), David Johnson (Phyllis), Robert Johnson, (Phyllis), Karl Johnson (Caren) and Sylvia Johnson. She also leaves behind fifteen nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Janie Butler Johnson and her brother Jerry Johnson.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Ben Killebrew, Brandon Johnson, Patrick Wright, Cody Johnson, Raymond Summers and Jay Summers.
