Billie Ann (Wade) Rial

February 27, 1944 — December 26, 2011

Billie Ann Wade Rial, resident of the Collierville Community, native Fayette Countian and Kellogg’s Corporation employee in Rossville departed this life Monday morning, December 26, 2011 at the Baptist Trinity Hospice House in Collierville where she had resided for five days. She was 67 years of age and died following an illness of two weeks.

Services of Remembrance for Ms. Rial were conducted at 12 noon Wednesday, December 28th at Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville. Special remarks were provided by her brother, Bennett “Buddy” Wade. A private family graveside service immediately followed with Pastor Artie J. Fulcher of Somerville officiating. Interment was in the Bethlehem Cemetery near Moscow. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes and Cremation Center — Main Chapel of Somerville.

A native of Fayette County, Ms. Rial was born February 27, 1944. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bennett Wade and Hazel Gardner Wade, early residents of the Rossville Community area. She received her education in the Fayette County and Collierville Public School Systems and had been employed in the production department of the Kellogg’s Corporation in Rossville for 22 years.

Ms. Rial was of the Baptist faith and a lifelong resident of Fayette and Shelby Counties. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who received much enjoyment from special times with her family. Ms. Rial was an avid grower of flowers throughout her life and developed many friendships with her fellow employees at Kellogg’s Corporation during her long period of employment.

Ms. Rial is survived by her daughter, Cindy Rial of Collierville; her son, Gary Rial (Theresa) of Collierville; her sister, Carol Glover (Randy) of Williston; her brother, Bennett “Buddy” Wade (Janet) of Hattiesburg, MS; and four beloved grandchildren, Jordon Babin, Chelsea Rial, Hailey Rial and Kinsey Rial, all of Collierville.

Those honored to serve as casketbearers included Jordon Babin, Jeremy Wade, Ben Wade and Charlie Thomas.
