Hal William “Billy” Renner, age 74, resident of the Fisherville Community and husband of Brenda Paschall Renner, departed this life Tuesday morning, June 6, 2017 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.
Services of Remembrance for Mr. Renner were conducted at 1 P.M. Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the Woodland Hills Church of Christ in Cordova. The officiating ministers were Bro. David South and Bro. Justin Paschall. Interment was private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mr. Renner was born September 9, 1942 in Cherry Valley, Arkansas. He attended school in Marion, Arkansas and was married June 7, 1975 to the former Brenda Paschall. He was employed as the service and parts manager at Delta Material Handling and later worked at Dandridge Farm Equipment before his retirement. Mr. Renner was a member of Woodland Hills Church of Christ and enjoyed camping, fishing, preparing food in his Dutch oven and the many special times he had on the deck at his house with his family.
Mr. Renner is survived by his wife of 42 years, Brenda Paschall of the Fisherville Community, TN; his daughter, Lisa Gaither (Dale) of Collierville, TN; his son, Greg Renner (Sheila) of Carlisle, AR; his brother, Gene Renner (Beverly) of Albany, GA; seven grandchildren, Jessica Gaither, Paul Gaither (Val), Matthew Gaither (Gisselle), Nate Renner (Katelyn), Haley Renner, B.J. Billings, Jeffery Cates; and three great-grandchildren, Arleigh Gaither, Falon Farris-Gaither and Barrett Farris-Gaither.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Renner and Oma Bonham Renner; his daughter, Libby Renner Cates; and his son, Robert Renner.
