Bobbie Allenese Clark

Bobbie Allenese Houston Clark, a resident of Southaven, Mississippi and former resident of Fayette County died at 11:43 A.M. Friday, October 12, 2007 at the Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, MS., where she had been a patient for 2 days. She was 43 years of age and died following a 4-week illness.

Funeral services for Ms. Clark were conducted at 2 P.M. Tuesday, October 16th at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Rev. Loyd Shelton, Baptist Minister of Rossville, officiating. Interment followed in the Eads Cemetery at Eads, Tennessee. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home-West Chapel.

Ms. Clark was born April 12, 1964 in Memphis, TN., the daughter of the late Robert Clark and the late Mary Ann Houston Clark. She moved with her family to Fayette County at an early age and received her education in the Fayette County Public School system. She was a lifelong resident of Shelby, Fayette and Desoto counties.

Ms. Clark was of the Baptist Faith and had been employed by the Heavenly Sunshine Home Cleaning Service at Southaven before her recent illness. She will be remembered as a talented person who enjoyed drawing, sewing and crafts. Special times included being with her family and preparing food for others.

Survivors of Ms. Clark include her daughter, Anna Maria Houston of Hernando, MS.; two sons: Thomas E. Turner and Corey Lee Houston, both of Hernando, MS.; two sisters: Terri Watson of Memphis and Robin Watson of Houston, TX.; two brothers: Leslie Goforth of Memphis and Brandon Watson of Hernando, MS. and three grandchildren: Matthew Turner, Karisa Turner and Keriona Turner.

Casketbearers were family members and friends and the family requests that Memorials be directed to the organization or charity of the donor's choice.
