BOBBY "BUBBA" LEE WEATHERLY, JR.

November 21, 1955 — January 8, 2009

BOBBY LEE "BUBBA" WEATHERLY, a resident of Memphis, longtime Construction Company Employee with extended family members in Fayette County died at 12:18 P.M. Thursday, January 8, 2009 at the St. Francis Hospital in Memphis where he had been a patient for five months. He was 53 years of age and died following an extended illness.

Funeral services for Mr. Weatherly were conducted at 2 P.M. Sunday, January 11th at Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville with Rev. Danny Spurlock, Associate Minister of the Ellendale Baptist Church in Memphis, officiating. Interment followed in the Macon Cemetery at Macon, Tennessee. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes-Main Chapel of Somerville.

Mr. Weatherly was born November 21 1955 in Memphis the son of the late Bobby Lee Weatherly Sr. and the late Annie Lee Cooksey Weatherly. He was educated in the Memphis Public School System and was a lifelong resident of the Fayette and Shelby County areas.

Mr. Weatherly worked in the Construction business throughout most of his life and was employed by the Bank Equipment Specialists Construction Corporation in Bartlett, before his illness.

Mr. Weatherly was a Christian and his interests included-country music, playing billiards, spectator wrestling and NASCAR activities. He was known for his love of cooking and sharing his culinary creations with others.

Survivors of Mr. Weatherly include two daughters, Brandi Price of Blackwell, Missouri and Stacey Weatherly of Olive Branch, MS; two sons, Jason Weatherly and Cody Weatherly, both of Olive Branch, MS; his sister, Kim Aune-Iversen of Murfreesboro, TN; three brothers: Ronnie Weatherly of Raleigh, Donnie Weatherly of Cordova and Johnny Weatherly of Bartlett and six grandchildren.

Those honored to serve as casket bearers were Cody Weatherly, Jason Weatherly, Tiffany Weatherly, Wyndell Rhea, Keith Berube and Ramiro Torres.
