Bonnie Faith Reynolds Thomas, resident of Holly Springs, MS, former Fayette Countian and wife of Kyle R. Thomas died Monday morning, October 31, 2011 at the Methodist Hospice in Memphis where she had been a patient for one day. She was 59 years of age and died following an extended illness.
Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Thomas were conducted at 2 P.M. Wednesday, November 2nd at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Special remarks were provided by Claudia Forest and Katie Duty. Interment followed in the Somerville City Cemetery. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes and Cremation Center — West Chapel of Oakland.
Mrs. Thomas was born December 23, 1951 in Somerville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph W. Reynolds and Jimmie Pauline Melton Reynolds. She was educated in the Pope Elementary and Bellevue Public School System.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Thomas is survived by her son, Bobby Ray Sherman (Becky) of Bartlett; her sister, Connie Parish of Drummonds; two brothers, Terry W. Reynolds of Scotts Hill, Lyn Reynolds of Raleigh, NC; two grandchildren, Darren Ray Sherman, Summer Leann Sherman; and many loving nieces and nephews. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Thomas Corder.
Those honored to serve as casketbearers were Randy Parish, Bobby Sides, Dennis Palmer, Steve Riles, Wes Jenkins, Darrell Deckaman, Stoney Fuller and Matthew Jones.
