Bonnie Marie (Hahn) Whitney

Bonnie Marie Hahn Whitney, age 78, resident of Stanton, Tennessee, departed this life Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at the St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.

A Graveside Service for Ms. Whitney was held at 10 A.M. Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the Memphis Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – Main Chapel of Somerville.

Ms. Whitney was born February 6, 1940 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Leroy Edward Hahn and Neva Isabell Ramsey Hahn. She received her education in Muscatine County, Iowa and was most recently a resident of the Stanton Community in Tennessee. She enjoyed gardening, landscaping, playing cards and raising German Shepherds.

Ms. Whitney is survived by her son, Wade Brown of Stanton, TN; two sisters, Janey Meade of Stanton, TN, Barbara Brown of Stilwell, OK; and two grandchildren, Ramey Sawyer Brown and Veronica Lee Brown, both of Portland, OK.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Leroy Brown and two brothers, William Hahn and Charlie Hahn.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Steven Selph,Charles Downs, Kenny McCain, Kevin Felice, Steve Watkins and Aaron Davidson. Honorary pallbearers were Jack McCulley and Wayne Mills.
