Brandon Heath Wilhite, age 38, resident of Arlington, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018.

Services for Brandon Heath Wilhite were held at 1 P.M. Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Speakers will be Sam Brown, Chris Wilhite and John Carter. A Private Interment was in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.

Brandon was born February 18, 1980 in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of Michael and Cynthia Wilhite. Brandon was a graduate of the 1998 class at Overton High School and attended the University of Memphis. He married his first love, Jessica Johnson, on April 25, 2003, and had two daughters, Ava Grace, age 12, and Caroline Ann, age 9. Brandon was a fifteen-year veteran of the Memphis Police Department where he was recently assigned to the General Investigative Bureau at Appling Farms Station. He was passionate about serving his community with honor and integrity. Brandon loved his family, serving alongside his brothers and sisters in blue and creating beautiful pieces of artwork.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica; two daughters, Ava Grace and Caroline Ann; his mother, Cynthia Wilhite; his father, Michael Wilhite (Janet); his brother, Christopher Wilhite (Christina); his sister, Hannah Pressley (David); his grandmother, JoAnne "JJ" Wilhite; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Margaret "Memomma" Ferrill, Joseph "Papa Joe" Ferrill; and Freddie "Bapa" Wilhite.
