BRENDA LYNN WRIGHT BEASLEY

November 3, 1951 — June 29, 2009

BRENDA LYNN WRIGHT BEASLEY, a resident of the Williston Community and Certified Nursing Assistant died at 7:30 A.M. Monday, June 29, 2009 at her home on Morris Drive. She was 57 years of age and died following an extended illness.

Services Of Remembrance for Ms. Beasley were conducted at 2 P.M. Friday, July 3rd at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville with Chaplain Richard Kilpatrick of the Caris Hospice Organization in Somerville, officiating. Interment was private and arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes-Main Chapel of Somerville.

Ms. Beasley was born in Sulphur Springs, Oklahoma on November 3, 1951. She was preceded in death by her parents, William George Wright and Elizabeth Jones Wright.

She was a graduate of the Lancaster High School in Dallas, Texas, Class of 1977 and completed her education at the San Marcos Nursing School in Houston, Texas.

She had been a resident of Fayette County for the past twenty-two years and had been involved in healthcare throughout her life.

She was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant for the National Healthcare in Collierville and the Collierville Healthcare Center.

She also had served as a private duty nurse for a number of local residents.

Ms. Beasley was of the Baptist faith. Her pleasures included caring for her yard and garden.

She enjoyed nature and all out-of-door activities that included fishing, camping and adding specimens to her ever-growing rock collection.

She will be remembered as a caregiver devoted to her family and patients.

Survivors of Ms. Beasley include her companion of twenty-two years, Robert L. Smith; her daughter, Mae Linda Jeffus of Fort Wayne, IN; her son, Raymond Jeffus (Tonya) of Fort Wayne, IN; her sister, Linda Jay (Robert) of Brownsboro, TX and four grandchildren: April Kaylyn Jeffus, Melissa Nunnley, Jessica Howey and Riley Amberlyn Jeffus.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the church, charity or organization of the donor's choice.
