Brenda Jean (Henley) Kyser

Brenda Jean Henley Kyser, age 49, resident of Somerville Community departed this life Wednesday evening, April 10, 2013 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

Services for Mrs. Kyser will be at 11 Tuesday morning at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville with visitation one hour before services. Interment will be in the Hood Cemetery in the Warren Community.

Mrs. Kyser was born July 16, 1963 in Somerville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Henley and Mary L. Mathis Henley. She received her education in the Fayette County Public School System and was a lifelong resident of the Somerville Community. She was married to William A. Kyser, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Kyser was Baptist in faith and a homemaker throughout her life. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, and her pets, "Fred" and "Star". She enjoyed special times with her grandchildren and will be remembered for the love of her family.

Mrs. Kyser is survived by two sons, Kenny D. Kyser (Amanda) of Somerville, Kevin Kyser of Somerville; two sisters, Marie Summerville (Randy) of Oakland, Mary Nell Henley of Selmer; two brothers, William H. Henley of Somerville, Raymond Henley of Oakland; and three grandchildren, William Kyser, Tyler Kyser and Skyla Kyser. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Faye Kyser and Rose Marie Henley.

Those honored to serve as casketbearers will be Randy Summerville, Cody Kyser, Charles Feathers, Jason Childress, Jimmy Miller and Kevin Treadway.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the church, charity or organization of the donor's choice.
