Brian Edward Gupton

Brian Edward Gupton, 55, resident of Hickory Withe, United Parcel Service employee and husband of Teresa Simpson Gupton died Friday evening, January 11, 2013 at the Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.
Services of Remembrance for Mr. Gupton will be at 2 Saturday afternoon at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with visitation one hour before services. Interment will be in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64.
Mr. Gupton was born November 9, 1957 in Memphis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley E. Gupton and Dorothy Leise Gupton. He received his education in the Shelby County Public School System and State Tech Community College in Memphis. A Christian and devoted husband, father and grandfather, Mr. Gupton enjoyed motorcycles, auto repair, relaxing by the swimming pool and racecar activities. He will be remembered for the friendship he shared with his sons.
In addition to his wife of 31 years, Mr. Gupton is survived by two sons, Brad Gupton (Leah) of Somerville, Chris Gupton (Jessi) of Hickory Withe; sister, Dianna Deal (Ron) of Covington; and three beloved grandchildren, Chase Edward, Kinsley Nicole and Haylee Marie Gupton.
