Brian Eugene White

Brian Eugene White, age 45, resident of Oakland, Tennessee and husband of Amber White, departed this life Wednesday morning, June 1, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Brian was born December 11, 1976 to Eugene Neal “Gene” White and Kathy Hornback White. He graduated from Central Baptist School in Memphis and was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church in Cordova where he was saved and active in the Awana program. He was married on June 15, 2002 to Amber Lane White.

Brian was employed at Flinn Broadcasting in Memphis for over ten years as a web developer and doing information technology support. He was employed with his father at SurfaceScapes where he was vice president of digital marketing and also had several commercial information technology and digital marketing clients.

Brian was very proud of his children. His daughter, Hayden, just completed her first piano recital. His daughter, Bryn, has just started gymnastics and she has been doing such a good job. He enjoyed swinging his son, Easton and enjoyed watching all of his children spend time in the swimming pool. Brian loved music, playing the guitar and shooting guns.

Mr. White is survived by his wife, Amber White; two daughters, Hayden White and Bryn White; his son, Easton White; his parents, Gene and Kathy White; two sisters, Kimberly Scholz (Ronny) and Meredith Holseberg (Tim); and his grandmother, Kathleen “Granny” Hornback. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesse “J.C.” Hornback and Don and Charlotte White.

Funeral Services for Mr. White were held at 3 P.M. Thursday, June 9, 2022 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Pastor Drew Murphy officiating. Interment followed in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Ronny Scholz, Jesse Vining, Jon Griffin, Thomas Davis, Jeremy Cole and Tim Holseberg.

The family requests that memorials be directed to Fayette Christian School, 12465 U.S. Highway 64, Somerville, TN 38068.
