Carla Denise Day

Carla Denise Day, age 56, resident of Senatobia, Mississippi, departed this life Tuesday morning, February 20, 2018 at the Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.

Graveside Services for Miss Day were held at 11 A.M. Monday, February 26, 2018 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Williston. The officiant was Scott Massey. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – Main Chapel of Somerville.

Miss Day was born November 8, 1961 in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. She moved with her family at an early age to Tennessee and she was a graduate of Rossville Academy. She was employed as a cashier for a number of years and enjoyed shopping and watching television.

Miss Day is survived by her daughter, Ashley Nicole Davis of Somerville, TN; her mother, Audia Leigh Rose Meyers Day of Senatobia, MS; two brothers, Eddie Day (Peggy) of Senatobia, MS, John Paul Day (Sue) of Waterford, MS; and two grandchildren, Hailey Davis and Kayla Davis, both of Oakland, TN.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Wesley Day and two brothers, Keith Day and Gary Day.
