Carol Christona (Parker) Garner

Carol Christona Parker Garner, age 73, resident of Selmer, Tennessee and wife of the late John Columbus Garner, died Saturday morning, September 30, 2017 at her residence.
Services and Interment for Mrs. Garner were private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mrs. Garner was born August 7, 1944 in Dearborn, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her father, John Parker. She was married in 1979 to John Columbus Parker, who preceded him in death on September 24, 2014. Mrs. Garner was a homemaker throughout her life and enjoyed working crossword puzzles, coloring and dancing.
Mrs. Garner is survived by her daughter, Johnnie Hopkins of Selmer, Tennessee; five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
