Charles Bridgeman “Charlie” Parker, age 54, resident of Arlington, departed this life Thursday evening, November 18, 2015 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.
Services of Remembrance for Charlie were conducted at 2 P.M. Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Chuck Barrett, pastor of the Arlington Assembly of God, officiating. Interment followed in the Arlington City Cemetery. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – Main Chapel of Somerville.
Charlie was born February 26, 1961 in Memphis. He was of the Assembly of God faith and a resident of Memphis and Arlington all of his life. He enjoyed outdoor activities that included fishing, riding the lawn mower, feeding horses, collecting turtles and traveling.
Charlie is survived by his mother, Judy Sanders Parker of Arlington and his brother, Chester “Mackey” Parker of Arlington.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul R. Parker who died in March of 1996.
