Charlese (Alexander) Grandberry

April 16, 1952 — December 1, 2015

Charlese Alexander Kyzar Grandberry, age 63, resident of Eads and wife of the late James Kyzar and the late Sherman Grandberry, departed this life Tuesday afternoon, December 1, 2015 at the St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.

Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Grandberry were conducted at 1 P.M. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. Joseph Brasher, pastor of the Millington First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment followed in the Taylor's Chapel Cemetery in Somerville. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.

Mrs. Grandberry was born April 16, 1952 in Somerville. She received her education in the Fayette County Public School System and was a member of the Millington First Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, word search puzzles and reading her Bible.

Mrs. Grandberry leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Kimberly Kyzar of Eads, Sara Matheny of Eads; her son, Bryan Kyzar of Eads; three sisters, Sarah Thompson of Olive Branch, MS, Michelle Henley of Oakland, Betty Scarbrough (Ray) of Memphis; her brother, Robert Alexander of Crockett Mills, TN; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Kyzar; her second husband, Sherman Grandberry; and her parents, Robert Burwell Alexander, Jr. and Ella Elizabeth Simpson Alexander.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Steven James, Micheal James, T.J. James, Timothy Thompson, Tyler Boyles and Charles Thompson.
