Charlotte Anita Harvey, resident of the Arlington Community and beloved daughter of the late Charles and Juanita Harvey of the Somerville Community departed this life at her residence to join her parents on her 59th birthday, Saturday morning, April 14, 2012.
A Celebration of Life Service for Charlotte was conducted at 11 A.M. Monday, April 16th at the Somerville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Kendrick, Pastor of the Church officiating with personal remarks given by Charlotte’s brother, Ed Harvey. Interment followed in the Somerville City Cemetery. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes and Cremation Center — Main Chapel of Somerville.
Miss Harvey was born April 14, 1953 in Somerville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Edward Harvey and Juanita Maness Harvey. Miss Harvey was a member of the Somerville First United Methodist Church and had been a resident of the Arlington Developmental Center for much of her life.
Miss Harvey is survived by her brother, Ed Harvey and wife, Victoria, of Franklin, Tennessee and her large extended Arlington family that loved and cared for her during her lifetime.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the Somerville First United Methodist Church, 202 South East Street, Somerville, TN 38068, who at the wish of her family will be directed to the special needs of the residents in the Arlington Community where she lived.
