Charlotte Dianne Ivy

Charlotte Dianne Ivy, age 70, resident of Somerville, Tennessee, departed this life Thursday, April 17, 2025.

Charlotte was born November 13, 1954 in Somerville, the daughter of the late Odus L. Ivy and Lelar Charlene German Ivy. She graduated from Fayette Academy in Somerville and was employed as a legal secretary in the Memphis area for many years before her retirement. Charlotte had a lifelong love for animals, especially her dogs. She found joy in flowers and the simple beauty of nature. Family was paramount in her life and she cared deeply for her nieces and nephews, loving them as if they were her own.

Charlotte's straightforward nature and playful sense of humor were an authentic part of who she was. She will be remembered for her quick wit, her spark, and a strong spirit that made an impression on everyone she met. Charlotte had a heart of gold and she would give whatever she had. Her kindness and generosity will remain etched in the hearts of her family and friends.

Charlotte is survived by her sister, Jeannie Heffner and her husband, Charlie Heffner; her sister-in-law, Janis Ivy; four nieces and seven nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley M. Ivy Walls who died in 2024 and her brother, Robert L. Ivy who died in 2017.

A visitation for Charlotte will be from 2 to 3 P.M. Monday, April 28, 2025 at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville. Funeral Services will be at 3 P.M. Monday, April 28, 2025 at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville with Dr. Albert Wilkerson of Evansville Baptist Church in Coldwater, Mississippi, officiating. Interment will follow in Hood Cemetery in the Warren Community.
