Chase Bonds Haberstroh, age 32, resident of Hernando, Mississippi, departed this life on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at his residence.
Memorial Services for Chase were conducted at 11 A.M. Thursday, August 14th at First Baptist Church of Nesbit with Bro. Gary Black, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment followed in Autumn Woods Cemetery at Olive Branch, Mississippi. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.
Chase was born on April 7, 1982 in Memphis. He grew up in Southaven, Mississippi and graduated from Horn Lake High School. After high school, he attended Ole Miss where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. His passions included umpiring, pit bulls, and his Harley Davidson.
Chase is survived by his daughter, MaKayla Clark; his parents, Paul and Margie Haberstroh of Walls, MS; his brother, Chris Haberstroh (Michelle), and their children, Hannah, Parker and Eli, all of Olive Branch, MS; his brother, Chad Haberstroh (Amy) and their children, Reed and Katelyn, all of Southaven, MS; his paternal grandparents, Gwen and Arthur Bonds of Lepanto, AR; his uncle, Greg Bonds (Mel) of Lepanto, AR; his uncle, Jeff Bonds of Jonesboro, AR; his aunt, Linda Hawks (Bob) of Millington; his uncle, Harold Reed of Eugene, OR; his fiancee, Michelle Strocher and her daughter, Kendall Strocher; and his loyal pit bulls, Izzie and Lucky.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Tony Andreoli, Jimmy Bass, Jeff Bonds, Jason Bradley, Len Hall and Rozzel Honorable.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the MaKayla Clark Scholarship Fund at any BankPlus location.
