Clinton Davis Gooch

CLINTON DAVIS GOOCH, 88, resident of the Oakland Community, retired foreman for the Memphis Light, Gas and Water Department, WWII Navy Veteran and husband of Joyce Gooch died June 16, 2010 at his residence.
Services will be at 2 PM Friday at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Graveside services with Military Honors will be at 11AM Saturday in the Gibson County Memory Gardens at Humboldt, TN. A visitation for Mr. Gooch will be from 1 to 2 PM Friday at Peebles.
A former resident of Bartlett and a member of Bartlett Woods Church of Christ, Mr. Gooch enjoyed collecting antiques, clock building, gardening and special times with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife of 55 years, he leaves a daughter, Sherri "Memee" Bowen (John) of Moscow, a son, Brett Gooch of Arlington, two grandsons, Anthony Williams, Joshua Dodd, a great-grandson, Skyler Williams, a sister Linda Burbank, a brother Richard Gooch, sister-in-law Mary Sellers and brother-in-law Robert Smith.
Memorials are requested to the Bartlett Woods Church of Christ.
