Clyde David Brown

Clyde David Brown, age 59, resident of Whiteville, Tennessee, departed this life Tuesday morning, January 21, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Clyde was born November 13, 1965 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, the son of Carl David Brown and the late Eva Earstine Rutledge Brown. He was employed in the construction industry for many years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and four-wheelers. Clyde will be remembered for being a family-oriented man.

Mr. Brown is survived by his girlfriend, Brenda Davis; his ex-wife, Myranda Almond; three daughters, Amanda Kyser (Kenny), Eva Brown and Chyenne Shubert; his brother, Carl Kenton Brown (Tabitha); eleven grandchildren, William Kyser, Landon Brown, Tyler Kyser, Josie Brown, Skyla Kyser, Kevin Kyser, Harper Manley, Hunter Kyser, Austin Brown, Henry Kyser and Shania Miller; his niece, Britney Davis (Kevin); and three nephews, Dustin Brown (Jessica), Frankie Brown (Chynthia) and Nicholas Brown.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sheila Holden and two grandchildren, Brooklyn Kyser and Carter Brown.

Funeral Services for Mr. Brown were held at 12:30 P.M. Thursday, January 23, 2025 at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville with Bro. Tim Boyd, pastor of Whiteville First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment followed in Somerville City Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Frankie Brown, Nicholas Brown, Landon Brown, William Kyser, Rickey McDonald, Kevin Kyser, Dustin Brown and Charles Feathers. Honorary pallbearers were Kenny Kyser and Bradley Young.
