Coleman Donald "Cody" Hillman, age 33, resident of Covington, Tennessee and son of Cindy Trimm and Richard Hillman, both of the Macon Community, departed this life Sunday, February 1, 2015 at his residence.
Services of Remembrance for Mr. Hillman were conducted at 1 P.M. Friday, February 6th at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. Vince McCalip, pastor of the New Life Christian Fellowship in Saulsbury, officiating. Interment followed in the Macon Cemetery in the Macon Community. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.
Mr. Hillman was born July 17, 1981 in Memphis, the son of Richard Hillman and the former Cynthia Magness. He received his education at Morris Chapel Christian School in Somerville and was a member of New Life Christian Fellowship in Saulsbury, Tennessee. He was a former resident of the Somerville Community before moving to Covington. He was employed as a foreman at Erwin Farms in Covington and he enjoyed hunting, farming, horses and going mudding.
Mr. Hillman is survived by his son, Bradley Hillman of Saulsbury, Tennessee; his parents, Cynthia Trimm of Macon, Tennessee, Richard Hillman (Linda) of Macon, Tennessee; and his sister, Erika Napper (Nick) of Braden, Tennessee.
Those honored to serve as casketbearers were Nick Napper, Jason Davis, Jared Davis, Dayton Ray, Cody Harris and Steve Luthe.
Honorary casketbearers were Matt Matheson and John Rhodes.
A Memorial Fund has been set up for donations to assist with funeral costs at The Bank of Fayette County, 15995 U.S. Highway 64, Somerville, TN 38068.
