Connie Joyce Baugh
June 22, 1949 — March 21, 2015
Connie Joyce “Maw” Baugh, age 65, resident of the Somerville Community, departed this life Saturday afternoon, March 21, 2015 at her residence.
Services of Remembrance for Ms. Baugh were conducted at 2 P.M. Wednesday, March 25th at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville with Bro. John Marr, pastor of the Mason Agape Outreach, officiating. Interment followed in Memphis Memory Gardens. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – Main Chapel of Somerville.
Ms. Baugh was born May 22, 1949 in Memphis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Reese Baugh and Belle Gee Baugh. She received her education in the Memphis City School System and was of the Catholic faith. She was employed as a retail clerk for a number of years and enjoyed special times with her grandchildren and preparing food for her family.
Ms. Baugh is survived by her daughter, Sandra Yarbro (Charles) of Mason; two sisters, Barbara Alexander of Southaven, MS, Betty Foshee of Cordova; four grandchildren, Rebekah Robison (Bryan), Jeffrey Frazier (Ariel), Adam Yarbro (Kelly), Brock Yarbro (Diane); and ten great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Sue Brown and her brother, William Clinton Baugh.
Those honored to serve as casketbearers were Jeffrey Frazier, Adam Yarbro, Timothy Stephens, Bryan Robison, Barry Frazier and Bobby Matheny.
Honorary casketbearers were Charles Yarbro and Kaleb Stephens.
