Crystal Lynn (Thomas) Tankersley

Crystal Lynn Thomas Tankersley, age 41, resident of Ramer, Tennessee and wife of Doug Tankersley, departed this life Thursday morning, January 8, 2015 in Memphis.
Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Tankersley were conducted at 2 P.M. Wednesday, January 14th at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. Bob Williams officiating. Interment followed in the Magnolia Cemetery at Collierville. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.
Mrs. Tankersley was born April 9, 1973 in Memphis, the daughter of William C. Thomas and the former Sandra Treadwell. She received her education at Rossville Academy and was the wife of Doug Tankersley, who survives. She was a resident of Ramer and a member of the Kirk Baptist Church in Collierville. She was employed at Hardee's Restaurant at the time of her death. Mrs. Tankersley enjoyed preparing food, swimming, motorcycles, vacationing and going to the mountains.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Tankersley is survived by her daughter, Haley Marie Tankersley Davis of New York, NY; two sons, Noah Lee Tankersley of Ramer, Joshua Lyle Tankersley of Somerville; her father, Bill Thomas of Ramer; her mother, Sandra Russell (Gary) of Memphis; and two sisters, Deanna Kay Thomas of Cordova and Christy Russell of Cordova.
Those honored to serve as casketbearers were Cliff Duncan, Terry Thomas, Ray Thomas, Raymond Anthony, Eddie Anthony, Jr. and James MacArthur.
