Dale Edward Ervin, resident of the Toone Community and heavy equipment operator with family members in Fayette County departed this life Saturday morning, September 7, 2013 at his residence. He was 53 years of age.
Services of Remembrance for Mr. Ervin were conducted at 3 P.M. Friday, September 13th at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Pastor Brian Smith of the Hebron Baptist Church in Middleton officiating. Interment was private and arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center — West Chapel at Oakland.
Mr. Ervin was born January 26, 1960 in Bolivar. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie Edward Ervin and Barbara Moore Ervin. He received his education in Hardeman County and was a graduate of the Bolivar Central High School. He was a lifelong resident of West Tennessee and had been a resident of the Toone Community for the past 15 years.
Mr. Ervin had been involved with heavy equipment machinery and farming for much of his life. He was of the Baptist faith and will be remembered as an animal lover and outdoorsman who enjoyed duck hunting, deer hunting and trout fishing. He was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan and in earlier years was a dirt bike rider.
Mr. Ervin is survived by his daughter, Sherridan Ervin of Bolivar; his son, Clayton Ervin of Bolivar; the mother of his children, Sherry Holland of Bolivar; his sister, Rita Kee of Oakland; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and one nephew.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the church, charity or organization of the donor’s choice.
