Danny Lee Anthony, age 56, resident of McKenzie, Tennessee and husband of Michelle Barnett Anthony, departed this life Sunday, June 12, 2016 at his residence.
Services of Remembrance for Mr. Anthony were conducted at 1 P.M. Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville with Dave Sellers officiating. Interment was private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mr. Anthony was born November 11, 1959 in Somerville. He received his education in the Fayette County Public School System and was married to the former Michelle Barnett. He was employed as a truck operator for a number of years and enjoyed working outdoors. Mr. Anthony will be remembered as a true family man who kept his family together, always putting their needs before his own. He received much pleasure in taking care of his dog, Bow, and his cats.
Mr. Anthony is survived by his wife, Michelle Barnett Anthony of McKenzie; two daughters, Erica Lauren Barnett, Sara Nicole Anthony; his son, Lee Dillon Anthony; his mother, Jean Celeste Duncan Looney; his stepfather, Charles Franklin Walls; his sister, Judy Anthony Heiter and her husband, Matthew, of Memphis; and his brother, Charles Wayne Walls of Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Everett Anthony.
