Danny Trammell

Daniel Franklin "Danny" Trammell, Jr., age 64, resident of the Gallaway Community and husband of Joyce Trammell died Tuesday morning, July 24, 2012 at his residence. A Committal Service for Mr. Trammell will be at 1 Monday afternoon at the Committal Building of the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Memphis.

Mr. Trammell was born December 3, 1947 in Tillmook, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Franklin Trammell, Sr. and Jenny Hawkins Trammell. He received his education in the Mountain View, Arkansas Public School System and lived in Gallaway for the past year and a half. He was a self-employed truck driver.

Mr. Trammell was married September 15, 2003 to the former Joyce Cox, who survives. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed working on cars and trucks, special times with his family and grandchildren, watching old westerns and movies and driving trucks.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Trammell is survived by five daughters, Nicholle Woods of Gallaway, Rhonda Yarbrough of Lexington, TN, Cynthia Hayes (Glen) of Lexington, Dusty Adams (Wes) of Beebranch, AR, Sabrina Linville of Mountain View, AR; two sons, Robert Luke Hulley of Lexington, TN, Rickey Linville (Kasey) of Mountain View, AR; his sister, Norma Peters (Daniel) of Newark, DE; a special cousin, Velma Bernice Woody (Curtis) of Mountain View, AR; eighteen grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Trammell was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Linville; his sister, Julie Payne; two brothers, Elvin Trammell, Doss Trammell; and two grandchildren.
