Darrell Glen Hoskins, age 40, resident of Somerville, Tennessee, departed this life suddenly on Saturday afternoon, July 14, 2018.
Funeral Services for Mr. Hoskins were conducted at 3 P.M. Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. Jason Moore, pastor of the Oakland First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment followed in the Hood Cemetery in the Warren Community. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland.
Mr. Hoskins was born March 17, 1978 in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of Glenda Steward and the late Buford Dale Hoskins. He received his education in the Fayette County School System and was a member of Oakland First Baptist Church. He was a longtime resident of the Fayette County area and was an avid WWE wrestling fan. Mr. Hoskins enjoyed target shooting, attending flea markets and auctions and special times with his family.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Makenzie Hoskins of Southaven, MS, Hailey Jo Hoskins of Somerville, TN; his mother, Glenda Steward of Somerville, TN; his brother, Kenneth Dale Hoskins of Somerville, TN; and his girlfriend, Robyn Harris of Somerville, TN.
He was preceded in death by his wife who he married August 6, 2005, Amy Jo Reeves Hoskins who died September 8, 2011 and his father, Buford Dale Hoskins.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Billy Hoskins, Jr., Niehaus McKinney, Bobby Fowler, Josh Kimery, Dylan Skelton, Jason Evans, John Boullion, Harry Bates, Jacob Skelton, Kevin Culver and Chris Berry.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the Oakland First Baptist Church, 8695 Highway 64, Somerville, TN 38068.
