David Richie Collins

David Richie Collins, age 61, resident of the Piperton Community and retired truck operator for B.T. Trucking, departed this life Wednesday morning, December 31, 2014 in Piperton.
Services and Interment for Mr. Collins will be private. Arrangements will be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.
Mr. Collins was born June 20, 1953 in Memphis. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Curtis Collins, Sr. and Alma Kathleen Richie Collins. He received his education in the Shelby County Public School System and was a graduate of Treadwell High School. He was a resident of the Piperton Community and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed motorcycles and going to Pickwick.
Mr. Collins is survived by his daughter, Virginia Riley of Bolivar; his sister, Nelda Williams (Philip) of Piperton; and two grandchildren, Gina Riley of Bolivar and Gary Riley III of Bolivar.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Curtis Collins, Jr.
