DAVID A. SIRCLOUMB

DAVID "COWBOY" AARON SIRCLOUMB, resident of the Arlington Community, retired from the trucking industry and husband of Karen Blanar Sircloumb departed this life Wednesday morning, May 12, 2010 at the St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett where he had been a patient for two weeks. He was 63 years of age and died following an extended illness.

A Service of Remembrance for Mr. Sircloumb was conducted at 7 P.M. Sunday, May 16th at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Pastor Mark McKinney of the Arlington Baptist Fellowship Church officiating. He was assisted by Dr. Wayne Webb of the Macon Road Baptist Church of Memphis. Interment will be private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes-West Chapel of Oakland.

Mr. Sircloumb was born September 22, 1946 in Dyess, AR. He received his education in the Wilson Arkansas Public School System and was a former resident of Palmyra, PA before moving to the Arlington Community 10 years ago.

Mr. Sircloumb was married December 19, 1993 to the former Karen Blanar, employee of the Arlington Youth Villages, who survives.

Mr. Sircloumb was a member of the Arlington Fellowship Baptist Church and served in the United States Army as a young person. He was a truck operator for a number of years before his illness and will be remembered as an outdoorsman who enjoyed nature and 4 wheeling. Mr. Sircloumb was a people person who also enjoyed street ministering to those in need.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Sircloumb is survived by his three daughters: Kathy McKee of Millington, TN, Keisha Gene Ware and Lyanna Chanoie Ware both of Columbia, SC; four sons: Paul David Sircloumb and Courtney Wayne Sircloumb both of Springfield, MO, Litho DeWayne Ware of Lebanon, PA. and Anthony Tyrell Ware of Arlington, TN; two sisters: Linda Sircloumb Holden of Arlington, TN and Betty Langford of Longtown, NJ and 10 grandchildren.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the Arlington Fellowship Baptist Church or the charity or organization of the donor's choice.
