Deanna Kay Thomas

Deanna Kay Thomas, age 36, resident of Cordova and HVAC technician for Joe Davis Electric Company, departed this life Sunday, February 7, 2016 at her residence.
Services of Remembrance for Miss Thomas were at 2 P.M. Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with interment in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64. The officiating ministers were Bro. Bob Williams and Bro. Thomas Foy. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.
Deanna was born May 15, 1979 in Memphis, the daughter of William "Bill" Thomas and the former Sandra Treadwell. She was a graduate of Kingsbury High School in Memphis and was a member of Kirk Baptist Church. She was a lifelong resident of the Memphis area and enjoyed motorcycles, basketball, swimming and fishing.
Deanna is survived by her father, Bill Thomas of Ramer, TN; her mother, Sandra Russell (Gary) of Memphis; and her sister, Christie Russell. She was preceded in death by her sister, Crystal Lynn Tankersley.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Rob Scott, John Beasley, Josh Tankersley, James MacArthur, Gabe Vanelli and Gary Russell.
