Debra Gail Janes

Debra Gail Janes, resident of Bolivar and sister of Jeffrey Malone of Oakland departed this life Saturday morning, August 10, 2013 at the Pine Meadows HealthCare Center in Bolivar. She was 57 years of age and died following an extended illness.
Services and interment for Miss Janes were private and arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center — West Chapel at Oakland.
Miss Janes was born August 5, 1956 in Memphis, the daughter of Floyd Oneil Janes and the former Patricia Blakley Burris. She received her education in the Memphis Public School System and was a Baptist. She was a resident of Memphis for a number of years before moving to Bolivar ten years ago. She developed many friends while living in Bolivar and enjoyed being with her family and eating at her favorite restaurants.
Miss Janes is survived by her mother, Patricia “Pat” Burris of Duck Hill, MS; her father, Floyd Oneil Janes (Yoe-Yeaner) of Memphis; her sister, Leslie Malone of Memphis; and three brothers, Randy Malone of Little Rock, Arkansas, Jeffrey Malone of Oakland and Joseph Malone of Germantown.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the Kirby Woods Baptist Church, 6325 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119.
