Diana Claire (Jackson) Nolan

Diana Claire Jackson Nolan, age 78, resident of La Grange, Tennessee and wife of John William Nolan, departed this life peacefully Sunday evening, September 3, 2017 at her residence.
Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Nolan were conducted at 2 P.M. Saturday, September 9, 2017 at La Grange United Methodist Church with Pastor David Harstin officiating. Interment followed in the La Grange Cemetery. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mrs. Nolan was born March 6, 1939 in Springfield, Massachusetts. She was a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University, where she received her Master’s degree. Mrs. Nolan was married to John William Nolan on February 18, 1962 and she loved gardening, reading and was an inspiring writer.
Mrs. Nolan is survived by her husband, John William Nolan of La Grange, TN; two sons, James “Jim” Jackson Nolan (Rhonda) of La Grange, TN; John Russell Nolan (Kathleen) of Manhattan, New York; her brother, Russell Jackson (Maureen) of North Carolina; and three grandchildren, Jessica Nolan, Landon Nolan and Kyle Nolan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Henry Jackson and Florence Barton Jackson; and two sisters, Florence Whealen and Pauline Miesemer.
Pallbearers were family members and the family requests that memorials be directed to Alzheimer’s Association, 713 S. Mendenhall Road, Memphis, TN 38117.
