Donald Paul Dawkins

Donald Paul Dawkins, age 55, resident of Memphis, departed this life Wednesday morning, January 28, 2015 at his residence.
A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Dawkins was conducted at 4:30 P.M. Saturday, January 31st at the Eastland Presbyterian Church in Memphis. Interment was private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.
Mr. Dawkins was born August 10, 1959 in Memphis, the son of the former Katherine Ann Callis and the late Donald Fred Dawkins. He received his education in the Fayette County Public School System and was a graduate of Fayette Ware High School in Somerville. He was employed as a sheetmetal welder for a number of years before retiring for health reasons.
Mr. Dawkins is survived by two daughters, Paula Andrews of Munford, Jessica Jacobs of Batesville, MS; his son, Joshua Jacobs (Mandy) of Oxford, MS; his sister, Katherine Webb (Tommy) of Oakland; two brothers, James Maurice Dawkins of Memphis, Jobe Smith (Wendy) of Buffalo, NY; and four grandchildren, Teagan Wright of Munford, Clayton Andrews of Munford, Holly Mae Jacobs of Oxford, MS and Tony Scott Jacobs of Oxford, MS.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the church, charity or organization of the donor's choice.
