Donna Faye (Spicer) Roberson

Donna Faye Spicer Roberson, age 54, resident of Walls, Mississippi and wife of Harry F. Roberson, Sr., departed this life Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at her residence.
Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Roberson were conducted at 11 A.M. Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. Jason Moore officiating. Special music was provided by Breanna Redmon, soloist. Interment will follow in the Pleasants Cemetery in the Mason Community. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland.
Mrs. Roberson was born July 22, 1963 in Somerville, Tennessee. She was a graduate of Fayette Ware High School Class of 1980 and received her degree at Concorde Career Institute to be a medical assistant. She was married August 16, 1994 to Harry F. Roberson, Sr. and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Roberson was an avid Memphis Grizzlies fan who enjoyed collecting angels and special times with her grandchildren. She loved taking care of her pet cats.
Mrs. Roberson is survived by her husband of 22 years, Harry Roberson of Walls, MS; two daughters, Kristy Rayford (Danny) of Southaven, MS, Tonya Tielens (Aaron) of Memphis, TN; three sons, Gary D. Rush (Angie) of Walls, MS, Brent A. Spicer of Walls, MS, William Spicer of Memphis, TN; her stepson, Dustin W. Roberson of Marion, AR; her mother, Marilyn “Granny” Bobbitt of Somerville, TN; her brother, Anthony Ray Spicer of Memphis, TN; eight grandchildren, Richard Tielens, Taylor Tielens, Zoe Brasher, Breanna Redmon, Jordan Spicer, D.J. Rayford, Zaylie Spicer and Shyann Stephenson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Ray Spicer; her stepson, Harry F. Roberson, Jr.; and her brother, Robert Douglass Spicer.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Danny Rayford, Sr., Nate Stephenson, Jordan Spicer, Danny Rayford, Jr., Andy Hunsucker and Gabriel Threet.
